A key part of the Lakenheath Project was to enable the wall paintings to be better understood and appreciated by the public. As part of this process the church now holds regular Open Days, takes part in the Festival of British Archaeology and encourages schools and adult interest groups to visit the church. On site display boards now explain the history of the Lakenheath wall paintings and guide books are available for a small fee.
Below are a series of educational worksheets based upon the wall paintings and other aspects of the church’s fascinating history. These are free to download and can be printed out prior to visiting the site. Click on an image to begin downloading.
